Is the Instagram audit really free?
Yes. It starts from your public handle, and the free plan comes with 25 credits a month for everything after it. You only pay if you want more.
Do I have to connect my account or give my password?
No. The audit reads only what is already public on your profile. Connecting comes later, if you want Your numbers or Auto DM, and it happens through Meta’s official platform, never with your password.
Does it work on a private account?
No. A private profile cannot be read from its handle. Switch it to public, or connect it as a Creator or Business account.
What does the full audit include?
A content score out of 100 split into profile (30), content performance (40) and growth signals (30), plus the two things working well and the two that are not.
How is this different from Instagram’s own insights?
